I would like to share a powerful story with you today. It is a story of a 5 year old boy whose next door neighbour was the sweetest elderly gentleman. He had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry in the garden, the little boy went to the gentleman, climbed onto his lap and just sat there. Later that that day, the boy’s mommy asked the what he had said to the neighbour. The little boy said: “Nothing, I just helped him cry.”
What a beautiful story, one to show us how to be more connected with our moods and emotions.
Moods, emotions and intuition are well recognised in the world. Harvard Business School did a study on successful CEOs and Entrepreneurs to determine what made them so successful. Their final report found that these people use rational thought COMBINED with powerful intuition to make decisions.
Furthermore, Conrad Hilton, Founder of Hilton Hotels speaks about how he used his intuition to set the price of a bid for a piece of land to start the Hilton Group of Hotels.
Successful Business people use their “YES” feelings or intuition to make phenomenal business decisions. If you can learn to tune into your intuition (which is your Soul speaking to you, and we all know that the Soul has all the answers), you will be powerfully equipped to take your life to a new level in an inspiring way.
If you can learn to tune into your intuition, you will be powerfully equipped to take your life to a new level in an inspiring way.
Your intuition, feelings and emotions are on your side. Start a mini journal – one that you can quickly jot down at regular points during the day, what you have been feeling and what your intuition is telling you. Start first thing in the morning, then at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 6pm and just before you go to bed. In all you will do this 7 times a day. You’ll be connecting to and learning so much about your moods, emotions and intuition with this exercise.
This learning will put the power of listening to your emotions, moods and intuition in your hands and remember the intent is NOT to change or judge anything, it is to become more aware. Just allow this awareness to be with you.
Let us know in the comments if you have tried our exercise and how it helped you.
